About The Project

This application showcases how spatial computing can elevate automotive experiences. Using Apple Vision Pro, users can place a life-sized Mercedes vehicle in their environment and interact with it from any angle. The experience is designed to feel seamless and intuitive, allowing users to explore details inside and out.

The experience supports multi-user functionality. A lead user, typically a sales representative, can guide the session by placing the vehicle, adjusting its configuration, and walking the customer through features. All connected devices remain in sync, creating a shared virtual showroom. This makes it ideal for dealerships and high-touch customer demonstrations.

Vehicle placement is handled through visual markers for quick alignment. Once placed, users can walk around the car, enter the cabin, and view high-resolution details powered by real-time rendering tuned for VisionOS.showroom-quality visualization, making it one of the most advanced automotive AR experiences to date.

The application is built specifically for Apple Vision Pro, making use of spatial tracking, real-time rendering, and full passthrough capabilities. It is optimized to run at high fidelity while maintaining intuitive controls and minimal setup.

A custom server manages the shared state. When a user changes the car’s position or updates its configuration, those changes appear instantly on all connected devices. This supports use cases where one person guides the experience while others follow along.

To keep the experience efficient and accessible, we implemented fast marker-based placement and simplified controls. The overall design ensures a smooth experience, even for first-time users unfamiliar with spatial computing or AR interfaces.
