About The Project

This project demonstrates a highly efficient approach to rendering real-time vehicle animations in Unreal Engine, combining:

  • Custom Chaos Vehicle Actor – A physics-based vehicle system, enabling realistic motion, acceleration, and driving behavior.
  • Reusable Animation System – A flexible animation pipeline that normalizes all vehicle actions (e.g., door openings) to work across different vehicle types.
  • Scalable Production Workflow – The system is designed to process large volumes of vehicles quickly, allowing animations to be easily swapped and repurposed.
  • Diverse Environments – Vehicles are rendered in a mix of pre-built cityscapes, custom tunnel shots, and a procedurally generated E Power road.

By focusing on physics-driven animation, procedural workflows, and modular environments, this approach enables high-quality, reproducible renders without requiring manual scene adjustments for every vehicle.

Procedural & Modular Environments

The vehicles are rendered in a range of environments, including high-detail cityscapes, a fully custom-built tunnel scene with dynamic lighting effects, and a procedurally generated mountain road inspired by real-world locations, complete with a dense, algorithmically placed forest.
